Carefully explore the dazzling raw stones

Examining rough gemstone material

Rough stones hide more than color. Surface texture, inclusions and crystal habit can point to origin stories and to treatments that only appear after cutting. Laboratory staff explore that material carefully before any number is printed.

Exploration means controlled lighting, magnification and notes — not guesswork from a photo alone. When the stone is fashioned, the same discipline continues: identity first, then the quality factors the trade expects on a GRA report.

Clients who already received a report can verify the printed number online. That check confirms the laboratory record; it does not replace a new examination if the stone has been re-cut or re-set.
